On behalf of all our faculty, staff and students, welcome to the faculty of Information Technology. It is such an exciting time for IT people where the Digital World is becoming an essential part of our lives. We have 5 billion active internet users (September, 2021), on average, every Internet user spends 7-9 hours per day surfing various digital platforms. Government and private sectors are thriving towards achieving better digital presence by actively providing services, products, procedures, and communication channels through the Digital World. These phenomena became apparent after COVID-19, where people and organizations had to abruptly switch to the Digital World. Such “World” needs innovators, developers, administrators, and analyzers, that is why there is a huge demand on talented and well-equipped IT professionals nowadays.

At the faculty of Information Technology we prepare students to lead the digital transformation (locally, regionally and globally) and to be able to contribute concretely to a “smart society”. This is achieved by providing our students with modern curricula where there is a balance between theory and practice. We have crafted study plans based on international standards and industrial demands.

At the moment, we offer two BSc programs: Computer Science, and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence. Both of the programs adhere to the highest standards of academic quality and students' capacity building.
