Vision:
M.Sc. in Risk Management aims at preparing graduates who can lead a contemporary Risk .
Mission:
- M.Sc. in Risk Management will help transform the mindset and the ways students understand and manage the entire spectrum of risks facing today’s organizations.
- M.Sc. in Risk Management will help the students take the most effective and efficient decisions that correspond to different risk, crisis and disaster scenarios at local, national and international levels.
- M.Sc. in Risk Management will equip the students with the contemporary international standards that will enable them to apply “best practices” related to risk management.
Objectives:
PO1. Provide the knowledge for students in order to be able to analyze a variety of risk scenarios (financial and non-financial) by matching these scenarios with the theories behind them.
PO2. Sharpening the practical skills of students in order to be able to link theory with practice and apply the best international practices.
PO3. To develop the communication, teamwork and group thinking skills for students in order to be able to take the most effective and efficient risk management decisions.
PO4. To encourage students, undertake quality research in the different fields of risk management.
PO5. To instill the value of social responsibility amongst students so that they can better serve their communities and humanity at large.
PO6. Enabling the students to demonstrate consultancy capabilities in order to provide expert
views and advice for different organizations across different sectors.

ILO4. Demonstrate effective communication skills, teamwork and decision-making during crisis and disaster situations.
ILO5. Articulate technical and conceptual issues in solving real-life incidents using the available range of risk management techniques.

Admission Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree, with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 'Good' or equivalent from an accredited university.
- A student holding a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a GPA lower than 'Good' may be granted a conditional admission, provided that s/he registers three courses from the program curriculum assigned by the department in the first semester of joining the program and passes all of them with course grade average of no less than 70% and a GPA of no less than 75%.
- Passing one of the following English exams:
1- TOFEL (IBT) with a minimum score of 69 .
2- ILETS with a minimum score of 5.5
3- The National English language exam with a minimum score of 65%
- In all cases, the student must submit the English Language Proficiency or the National English Language Certificate during the first year of enrollment.
- Applicants will have an interview with the department before final acceptance.
