On behalf of myself and all of faculty members, welcome to the faculty of IT at AUM.

The Faculty of IT at AUM is young and ambitious. We currently offer one degree program, namely Computer Science.  The Computer Science department grants a bachelor of science in Computer Science and is in charge of research in the field of computing. The Faculty of IT aims at adding two more bachelor programs and one master program in the near future. A PhD program in Computer Science is an ultimate desire of the Faculty.

Through teaching and research, we strive to advance human understanding of computing. For this cause, we hired experts who graduated from well-known universities and adopted the highest standards in teaching. At the Faculty of IT, we educate our students to gain the fundamental knowledge in the field, and to master the interpersonal and technical skills needed for success at the workplace. Throughout their educational journey, our students work closely with local and international companies in the field.

At the Faculty of IT, we pride ourselves for having state of the art facilities, outstanding instructors, and low student-to-faculty ratio. Our instructors work with and advise the students on a personal level. We spend every effort possible to empower our students and to maintain a friendly and joyful environment. Almost all of our graduates so far are either working in reputable companies e.g. Microsoft or pursuing higher education in western reputable universities.

As Information Technology specialists, our graduates provide better services and value to the industry. Nowadays, almost all businesses count on IT specialists to improve their efficiency and productivity. Maintaining computer equipment and software is not the only value an IT specialist can provide to an enterprise. Improving business processes, and developing innovative solutions are two areas our graduates usually excel at.
