It’s my great pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Business and Finance at the American University of Madaba (AUM). At the Faculty of Business and Finance we share thoughts and learn from each other and through our many initiatives we encounter the status quo to reinvent ourselves and others.

It is an exciting time for the Faculty of Business and Finance at AUM because since its inception in 2011, we have been developing our programs by bounds and leaps, accomplishing our goal line of evolving the business discipline to address future needs, and teaching undergraduate students to become highly skilled professionals in their fields.

Due to the globalized and competitive business world we live in, having distinguished education becomes a necessity for future success. At the Faculty of Business and Finance, we are committed to providing academic excellence and constantly strive to enrich our programs to stay at the forefront of higher educational trends in various fields of Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, Marketing, Banking and Finance, and Accounting.

At the Faculty of Business and Finance, we provide modernized, top grade teaching delivered by well-qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced faculty members who bring an intelligent rigor, practical focus and diversity to their classrooms. We draw students from various and multi-cultural backgrounds, which provide a very energetic and thought-provoking classroom environment. Our students also benefit from our memorandums of understandings and partnerships with international and local institutions.

Vision

The School of Business and Finance at the American University of Madaba (AUM) aspires to be a premier institution of business education in the Middle East. The faculty is committed to set its standards by which other institutions measure success and to be a model for excellence.

Mission

The mission of the School of Business and Finance is to provide an excellent education through time-honored and unique business programs. The school invests in its students by providing them with high quality educational instruction, superior faculty and exemplary student services. The mission reflects the responsibility of the faculty to make education the focus of all activities and create and continuously improve programs that add value to students’ educational experiences. This will be accomplished through relevance and quality; commitment to develop capable, confident, and ethical graduates equipped with productive contribution to business and society. The School of Business and Finance provides students with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to achieve successful business careers in global environment, become productive and ethically committed citizens, be prepared for advanced studies, and pursue life-long learning. This mission is accomplished with talented, diverse, and dedicated faculty, staff, and administrators working together with business, educational, government and community leaders.
