AUM international student office provides support and resources for international students studying at the university. Its primary goal is to assist international students with their academic and personal needs, and to promote a welcoming and inclusive campus environment for all students.
The office is staffed by professionals who specialize in international student services. They are responsible for assisting international students with a variety of tasks and issues, including:
Academic advising and registration : The office offers academic advising to international students on a range of topics, such academic planning, and degree requirements.
Cultural adjustment and support: The office provides cultural programs and events to help international students adjust to life in Jordan, including orientation sessions, cultural workshops, and social events. They also offer counseling and support services to help international students manage personal and emotional challenges that may arise during their studies.
Housing and transportation: The office provides information and resources on housing options, transportation, and other logistical matters.
In addition to these services, the international student office also collaborates with other departments and organizations on campus to promote intercultural awareness, and to provide opportunities for international and domestic students to interact and learn from each other.
The International Student Office is also responsible for following up and coordinating the Study Abroad and the Work and Program.
