The American University of Madaba hosted H.E. Ambassador of Japan, Okuyama Jiro, on Monday, May 22.
H.E. and his accompanying delegation were received by the Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, Eng. Azzam Shweihat, President, Prof. Mamoun Akroush, Vice President Dr. Majdi Zureikat, Vice President Dr. Khaled Al-Adwan, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Monther Abdel-Hadi and members of the Deans' Council.
The visit included a symposium held at the university auditorium in the presence of faculty and administrative staff and a number of university students, aimed at shedding light on the bilateral relations between Jordan and Japan, as well as reviewing the opportunities available to faculty members and students in particular in Japan.
