AUM admits students irrespective of their gender, color, religion or national origin. The admission is based on the student’s achievements in the secondary school certificate or its equivalent. If, for any reason, documents presented by the applicant are deemed fraudulent, AUM reserves the right to expel the student without prior notice. In this case, no refund is allowed.

  • AUM is licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan on 27 December 2005.
  • AUM has been accredited in Jordan by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions as of 2011.

The American University of Madaba constantly strives to make a difference locally, regionally and internationally. In line with this aim, AUM offers our second and third students a valuable opportunity to study at one of its outstanding international partner universities for one or two semesters for the same fees as AUM. These international partnership opportunities extend to faculty teaching exchanges and joint research programs as well.

The Higher Education Council reference the recommendation of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem decided in its eighth meeting held on the 2nd of June 2022, to appoint the following Board of Trustees of the American University of Madaba, for the term of four years effective the 2nd of June 2022.
